How to Purchase a ROC Pass (2024 - 25)

I’ve purchased a ROC Pass Before

  1. Click on “BYU Student Sign In” under the “My Account” tab on byutickets.com.
  2. Sign in with your BYU or personal email and BYU Tickets password.
  3. Click and purchase a ROC Pass. (One pass per person. A BYU Student and their spouse must each have their own pass.)

I’ve Never Signed into my BYU Tickets Student Account

  1. Click on “BYU Student Sign In” under the “My Account” tab on byutickets.com.
  2. Sign Into your account with your BYU email.
  3. Click “Send Me a Code” and open your email to find the code.
  4. Enter the Code
  5. Crete a password
  6. Click and purchase a ROC Pass. (One pass per person. A BYU Student and their spouse must each have their own pass.)

I’m purchasing a Spousal ROC Pass

  1. Spouses need to create a Net ID by going to accountcreation.byu.edu/new.
  2. After you create an account, the BYU Student of the spouse needs to go to myaccount.byu.edu. Once they log in, they need to go to "Relationships". From there they can click the Green Add button and add their spouse to their records. This process can take multiple days to fully connect to the verification system.
  3. Once this process is complete, call or visit the Marriott Center Ticket Office to purchase. Have the spouse's BYU ID ready.

Note: If the spouse was added to the Relationships tab before creating a Net ID, they will need to contact the Records & Registrar’s Office to create one. If they don’t do this, they won’t be able to log into the BYU App to access the ROC Pass. However, if the spouse was previously a BYU Student and has a BYU ID Number and Net ID they can use their old student log in to access the pass on the BYU App.

ROC Pass Information 2024-2025

What is a Student ROC Pass?

The Student ROC Pass gives a BYU student the opportunity to attend ticketed BYU Athletics events. Seating at each event will be in the general admission student section.

  • Degree seeking BYU Students and Flex-GE Students are eligible for a student ROC Pass
  • Ensign College, BYU-Idaho, BYU-Hawaii, Independent Study, and Visting Students are NOT eligible for the ROC Pass
  • Sports include Football, Women's Soccer, Women's and Men's Volleyball, Women's and Men's Basketball, Baseball, Gymnastics, and Softball.
  • Tickets for Football and Men’s Basketball games will be distributed via a first come, first serve claim process. You must have a ROC Pass to be eligible to claim a ticket. (For more info on Football and Men’s Basketball see the “Football or Men's Basketball” sections.)
  • BYU Students and their spouses are eligible to purchase a ROC Pass. (One pass per person)
  • Discounted tickets to home post-season games are often a benefit of buying a ROC Pass.
  • The ROC Pass is accessed via the BYU app except for tickets to Football or Men’s Basketball.
  • The ROC Pass is a general admission ticket. General admission is first-come-first-served.
  • A ROC Pass does not guarantee you admission to any event. No refunds are offered.
  • Your ROC pass is non-transferable. For football and men's basketball, your ticket presented at the gate must be downloaded to your digital wallet. Screenshots will not be accepted at the game.

What is a Spousal ROC Pass?

The Spousal ROC Pass gives the spouse of a BYU student the opportunity to purchase a ROC Pass and attend ticketed BYU Athletics events. The Spousal ROC Pass only grants admission to the non-BYU-attending spouse of a BYU Student. All BYU students should buy a Student ROC Pass, married or not.

The Spousal ROC Pass has all the same policies as the Student ROC Pass, outlined at BYUtickets.com.

The guest pass has been discontinued. The Spousal ROC Pass has been created to accommodate spouses of BYU students who do not attend BYU.

Football ROC Ticket Request Process 2024

Student tickets to Football games will be distributed via a first-come, first-served digital queue system. We will not be going back to a physical line or camping format due to significant safety concerns that have arisen in past years. Only Student ROC Pass and Spousal ROC Pass holders will be able to request a ticket to Football.

How does it work?

Select "ROC Ticket Claim" on byutickets.com or on the BYU Cougars app and follow the steps to check out. You are claiming a free digital ticket to the ROC Section. To be eligible to claim your ticket, you must purchase a ROC Pass. Your ROC Pass will not get you into the football game. One ticket per ROC Pass holder.

The claim will close once there are no more tickets left or at noon on the Wednesday of game week, (whichever comes first). If you do not claim a ticket by the time it closes, you may have an opportunity to get an on-demand ticket. On-demand tickets will be available at noon the day before the game.

After you check out, you will receive a confirmation email. This email is not your ticket. Look for an email from BYU Tickets on Wednesday evening with instructions on how to download your ticket to your mobile wallet.

What do I do if I receive a ticket to the game but can no longer attend?

If you have claimed and received a ticket, but can no longer attend the game, you must return your ticket by kickoff time. By returning a ticket it gives other BYU students and spouses a chance to go to the game.

ROC Entry Groups

What is the queuing process?

  • ROC Pass holders who receive a ticket to the game will also be assigned to an entry group.
  • Time, location, and entry instructions will be emailed to you on game week.

What if people I want to sit with are in a different entry group?

You may always enter with a later entry group but never with an earlier one. If, for example, you get assigned group one, but you would like to sit with someone in group three, you must enter with group three. (Saving seats is not permitted)
